It’s hard to believe I’ve already had two market days at the Issaquah Farmers’ Market (held at Pickering Barn in Issaquah, WA). I’ve added quilled jewelry this year. I need to figure out a sturdier way of balancing my hanging displays on my vintage cups and saucers–it’s my goal to have it up by this Saturday though!
I’ve added a new line of greeting cards for this market season. I’ve been having fun getting into watercolors and decided to use some of my practice sheets as the design for the cards. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying using watercolors to create backgrounds for my quilled wall hangings. The watercolor backgrounds really make the quilling come forward in the pictures. To see some examples, head over the the Nutty Squirrel in Maple Valley, WA. Otherwise, there’s a picture of the Eiffel Tower in the gallery tab.
